Victor Santos

full-stack developer · notes on everything I build, use, and learn

Hey, welcome. I'm really glad you found your way here.

I'm Victor, a developer who loves building things for the web. Coding is what I do and what I keep choosing to do, lately with AI helping me turn more ideas into real things, faster.

But this site is a lot more than just a developer portfolio. It is my public workspace and digital memory bank. For years, I've kept a massive OneNote notebook filled with server configurations, app suggestions, and tech discoveries that are valuable, at least to me. I am moving all of it here, where it's searchable, shareable, and actually useful.

Why? Too much good knowledge is locked inside a 20-minute video. You watch it while driving, bookmark it, then have to dig the one useful command back out when you're finally at your keyboard. I prefer information I can scan, search, copy, test, and revisit. When I find something worth keeping, I want to turn it into a concise written note, linking to the original source when relevant.

You're looking at an editor. Every section is a file you can open.

Fair warning: I've moved into a house that's still under construction. A few pages are AI-written filler, scaffolding I'm using to test the design while the real content catches up. If something reads suspiciously generic, now you know.

What you'll find here

  • Development: my projects, technical posts, the stack I'm currently using, and notes from across the web stack, backend, frontend, and the unglamorous glue (CI, deploys, observability)
  • Apps & tools: genuinely useful apps for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, the kind that save you when you need to undelete a file or solve some oddly specific task, plus tools I rely on, tools I want to try, and AI I'm exploring
  • Notes & tips: the practical, sometimes surprising stuff worth keeping, like how to recycle an old battery or device, whether rice really saves a phone that met water, and anything else I find interesting and helpful
